The Warrior Cross Country team includes 41 runners who are all working hard to improve their racing as the season moves forward. More importantly, these awesome kids are choosing better health each time they lace up their shoes. Running is not easy and this Warrior team continues to persevere and find success. With the 2018 XC Season starting on July 30th, it is very important that all the runners start getting active. In order for each runner to be ready for our first practice, a summer routine of exercise is a great idea! Most of our races are 2 miles in length which means eventually, each runner will need to be able to run those two miles at a reasonable pace. I have set up the schedule over the summer to provide each runner with a level of endurance that will be a good foundation for the start of practice. Please message me if you have any questions about the training calendar! I hope to see you at the fun runs this summer!
Here are some pictures from our pre-state practice at Parkside in Normal. What an awesome group of kids!
